How come different LED Christmas Lights colors are more expensive?
Basically each color is made from a different material.
The Whites or Warm White (the most expensive) are made from Red, Blue and Green, using three colors and different material for each color.
The Red Lights, Candlelight, Gold, Orange and Yellows are the least expensive to manufacture.
Both the LED's and the Lens are colored to make that wonderful bold bright color that you see in the LED Christmas Lights.
Another cost that becomes part of the overall cost is that the LED's are made on big disks, there maybe a 1,000 LED's on the disk but only about 10% can be used for the White, Soft or Purple and Pink. Mid range about 20% can be used for Blue and Green then the rest can be used for the other colors.
So range of color in the LED CHristmas Lights plays a part in the overall cost of your LED Christmas Lights.
