How to buy an LED Christmas Light
Details! OK so now you found some LED Christmas lights you want to purchase you call the company at there 800-888 (toll free) number and ask them the following questions of there Holiday Lights (I will give details as to why next)
- Are your lights Full Wave LED (fully rectified) Units? If they are not, hang up and look some more!
- Are your Holiday Lights Parallel wired? If no then move on to another source!
- Are your LED CHristmas Lights injected, molded sealed unit? If not move on!
- What is the warranty of your Holiday Lights? 2 years min. warranty should be given. If no warranty again move on!
Ok there is your 4 basic questions that will tell you if you are buying a quality LED Christmas light string. Now here is why:
- Full Wave only, otherwise you have that flicker that runs with the power cycle (most people see them as if they are blinking off and on. Over the years this has been the main complaint as to why someone will not buy an LED Christmas Lights.
- If the holiday lights are not parallel wired, when one light goes out, the whole string fails! Geez I can not even believe the junk they are still making!
- If the Christmas sets are not sealed then they are no different then an incandescent set, water will get into the bases and corrode the connection. You may get two seasons out of them.
- If no warranty then the LED Christmas lights are junk! I mean that Junk, we stand behind our LED Christmas Lights and always have. So does a few other distributors that are reputable. If someone can not stand behind there's then stay away, it's one of those want make a fast buck crooks out there.
